In addition to the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library, there are also groups at Beaches Public Library, Bradham Brooks Northwest Library, Murray Hill Library and Willbranch Library. Save Our Public Libraries, Inc. was formed to save public libraries in the consolidated City of Jacksonville and Duval County.

We promote active and continuous educational and multi-community use, as well as provide information to community groups, civic groups, governmental agencies, and individuals and organizations interested in maintaining a healthy quality of life through a strong branch public library system.
